A splash of blue...
This week we installed a beautiful custom multipurpose storage space. Our client does art lessons at home and needed some shelving a closet space to help get organized.

We did two sets of adjustable shelves, two banks of drawers behind doors, a bank of exposed drawers, and three lift up cabinets... aaand... a secret broom closet on the end facing the kitchen. All finished in the gorgeous Sherwin Williams Naval blue... The birch shelves and hand made maple drawers are finished in natural with warm semi-gloss poly.
We used Blum soft close full extension slides and Blum soft close hinges all around with stainless bar pulls.
The drawers were made in house with dovetail joinery, and the doors and drawer fronts were framed in soft maple, also milled and assembled in house with a traditional shaker profiles. The small countertop section was also milled and laminated in house, and coated in the same warm semi-gloss poly. We left space for matching floating walnut shelves later on.

The home had an air vent on the existing wall that we had to account for, so we added this modern slot diffuser to the toe kick and made sure to construct the cabinets to allow for easy airflow.
It was my pleasure to craft another beautiful set of cabinets! Isn't that blue just beautiful!
Thanks so much for reading!
